Avatar Body Type In the avatar creation feature players can choose from two body types. The various features available will change based on body type. Appearance Players can change the appearance of their avatar. In this test version, the number of avatar features, items, and colors is limited compared to the official version. In the official version, players will be able to enjoy a greater range of items and colors for their avatars. In addition, players will be able to customize their avatars with more advanced features. Outfit Players will be able to change their avatar's outfit. The outfits provided in players' inventories are for testing. At the end of the test version period these items will be deleted. We will reveal the date for the end of the testing period in a future announcement. Changes to Entrance Hall Area In the Entrance Hall area, the player guide NPC "Mithra" will awaken. Minimum System Requirements During Playtest With the implementation of the avatar system, sandbox simulation area, and other features, there is a possibility for increased loads on processing capacity of users' PCs in some areas of the game. In this case, gameplay may become unstable even for PCs that have the minimum system requirements, and we recommend closing unneeded apps while running Holoearth to free up processing capacity. We will continue to optimize and improve game performance in the future, but please be aware of possible stability issues during the playtest period. This is the Holoearth Management Team. We greatly appreciate everyone who attended the Protolive #2 ~Yamato Phantasia~ concert. Thank you once again to all who participated in the event. We would like to inform everyone about the technical issues that occurred during the Yamato Phantasia performance and our response. Why the number of attendees to the stage area was restricted Although the app login and network communication in the venue area were working as normal, the load on the API for fetching information on event-related items from the server far exceeded expectations. Due to the increased load due to people entering the stage area, the number of events that caused this error increased. As a result we took measures to restrict the number of entrants to the venue. We apologize to everyone who was looking forward to the show but could not enter the venue. We are currently working on a solution to this problem, and plan to take further measures against server load issues. At the same time, we will also review the quality assurance procedures performed during the verification of new releases, and will establish a more rigorous release verification system. In addition, in response to this incident, we are considering holding a replay of Yamato Phantasia after taking measures to allow more users to enter. Details of the replay being considered For a replay of Yamato Phantasia, we are looking into reopening the event area and showing the performance again. Greetings from the Holoearth Project Team! At the time of writing, almost 200,000 people have participated since we released the Holoearth Lobby Beta in November 2022. Thanks to your participation, we have made headway in testing the beta version of Holoearth. We appreciate everyone who has participated up to this point! This time around we would like to talk about the current status of Holoearth development, as well as the current roadmap for the project.   Alternative Booth Held as a Virtual Exhibition Venue During hololive SUPER EXPO A virtual exhibition venue, the hololive Alternative booth was opened for the hololive SUPER EXPO 2023 event held at Makuhari Messe during March 18th – 19th, and was open to the public until April 13th. The virtual venue received even more visitors than the main live event, which itself was well received. Thank you to everyone who came to either the live event or the virtual venue! In addition, we introduced the ability to purchase event-related merchandise in the virtual space on a trial basis, which was well-received. The success of this first virtual exhibition helped demonstrate the potential of the Holoearth project. About the Holoearth Lobby Beta The Holoearth Lobby Beta will serve as the portal into Holoearth and act as a communication lobby, where players can freely move around with and use test versions of their avatars, engage in the chat and use emoji, and communicate with other players.  More lobby mechanics will be added in future updates as we complete and test them. Before Participating The chat Stickers that were implemented for testing in March have been temporarily limited in functionality, as we add more functions and new Sticker types. About the Lobby Verification Test Being Conducted since March 14th  We greatly appreciate the participation and feedback we have been receiving from so many during the communication lobby verification test period that started on March 14th. We will share everyone’s bug reports, feedback, server load verification results, etc. with the development team to help in continued development. About the Verification Test For this test we will use the prototype version of the communication lobby – the portal into Holoearth – to test and verify both the current functionality and server loads. Since the main purpose of this test is verifying server loads, the in-app functions and visuals do not necessarily reflect those of the final planned release version. In this test version of the communication lobby, participants are able to control a test avatar, move around the lobby, and communicate with other participants using emotes and text chat. The results of this test will be used for continued development for future in-app functions and events held in the Lobby. Verification Test Period The test will run from March 14th, 2022, until March 25th, 2022. How to Launch Holoearth Download the zip file from the test version download button at the top of this page. Extract the contents of the zip file and double-click the HoloearthSetup.exe file. By clicking the “Login / New Account” button, your web browser will open the Holoearth account registration site. After completing user registration, you will be prompted to close your browser, so you can close the browser and return to the Holoearth app.  Minimum System Requirements * These requirements may change with future updates.
