Holoearth is scheduled to be updated to version 0.12.0 on November 15th, 2024.

This version will include the following updates:
・New “Poker Room (Beta)” Limited-Time Playtest
・New avatar fashion items
・New gestures
・New avatar customization options
・Further English updates
・Other minor updates

Maintenance will be performed for the update as stated below.

New “Poker Room (Beta)” Limited-Time Playtest

A new “Poker Room (Beta)” area will be opened for a limited time.
In this area, users will be able to playtest games of poker from Nov. 15th until Nov. 18th (JST).
Please enjoy playing matches of Texas Hold’em with other users!

Playtest Period

Friday, Nov. 15th after maintenance until Monday, Nov. 18th at 16:00 (JST)
(Schedule is subject to change)

Match Modes

For this playtest, users can enjoy two different match modes.

Casual Match

This match mode is for casual play and learning the rules of poker, and allows up to six players per table.
Players can join and leave matches at their leisure.
Upon joining a table players will each receive 20,000 chips to play with, which are forfeited upon leaving the table.

Private Match

In private match mode, players can create a table with custom options such as starting chips and turn time to play with friends.
Up to eight players will be able to play in a private match, and players will be able to set a password to play with friends and specific users.
(As the poker minigame is a beta feature in development, we cannot guarantee problem-free performance.)

New Avatar Fashion Items

A new lineup of fashion items will be available at the ALTERMODE fashion shop.
A “dark fairy tale” series that perfectly matches the atmosphere of the poker room area will be available for purchase.

New Gestures

Following maintenance, the “Plead” and “Finger Gun” gestures will be available for purchase.

New Avatar Customization Options

At the styling salon and clinic in ALT BEAUTYS, new avatar customization options for eyes and eyebrows will be added.
The avatar customization menu UI will also receive an update.

Further English Updates

English Launcher

By reinstalling the Holoearth launcher it will be possible to choose English as the launcher’s default language.
Users will be able to select their preferred language on installation (Japanese or English) to install the application in that language.

English UI

The shop interface and items will now be displayed in English if the application language is set to English.

HoloCoin Information for Overseas Users in English

Users can read the English version of important information regarding HoloCoin purchases by clicking “Matters to note upon using Service” in the shop menu.

Please note: while Holoearth is available for those who reside outside Japan and most of the in-app UI is available in English, it is currently primarily a beta test for the Japanese market. Some aspects of the user experience, such as currency conversion and customer service & support, are not yet implemented for overseas users.
