Explanation of Issues During Protolive #2 ~Yamato Phantasia~ and Future Steps

We greatly appreciate everyone who attended the Protolive #2 ~Yamato Phantasia~ concert. Thank you once again to all who participated in the event.

We would like to inform everyone about the technical issues that occurred during the Yamato Phantasia performance and our response.

Why the number of attendees to the stage area was restricted

Although the app login and network communication in the venue area were working as normal, the load on the API for fetching information on event-related items from the server far exceeded expectations. Due to the increased load due to people entering the stage area, the number of events that caused this error increased. As a result we took measures to restrict the number of entrants to the venue.

We apologize to everyone who was looking forward to the show but could not enter the venue.

We are currently working on a solution to this problem, and plan to take further measures against server load issues.

At the same time, we will also review the quality assurance procedures performed during the verification of new releases, and will establish a more rigorous release verification system.

In addition, in response to this incident, we are considering holding a replay of Yamato Phantasia after taking measures to allow more users to enter.

Details of the replay being considered

For a replay of Yamato Phantasia, we are looking into reopening the event area and showing the performance again.

Contents under consideration:

・ Reopening of the Kyo-no-Miyako area
・ Replay of the performance with archive footage

* Further details and schedule will be announced at a later time.
* Currently, after verifying and improving functionality, we are considering whether it is possible to hold a complete event replay. This is under consideration; as a result, it may be replayed with some changes, so we ask for your understanding in advance.

For those who purchased event items and were unable to participate

Contents under consideration:

・For items with an expiration date, such as Holo Lite Blade, the usage period and effect activation period will be extended according to the schedule of the replay.

・The lanterns purchased will be carried over to the replay event area.

Although some issues remain, the takeaways from this event were a sufficient verification for the platform as a benchmark for next-generation virtual event experiences, which was the primary purpose of this event.
