This is the Holoearth Management Team. We performed an update to Holoearth on September 19th, 2024. Update Contents Simulation Room ■Test Boss Battle Implementation The "Huge Slime" test boss battle will now appear in the Simulation Room. How to Summon A special item obtainable in the Simulation Room will be necessary to make the "Huge Slime" boss appear. Boss Rewards Crafting materials for special furniture items will be received upon defeating the "Huge Slime." ・Slime Sofa ・Slime Trampoline Precautions: Players who have installed a large number of building materials and furniture in their Simulation Rooms may experience a slowdown in performance depending on PC specs. In addition, it appears some users are experiencing issues such as not being able to enter their own simulation room depending on certain conditions. Please understand that these issues are due to the fact that Holoearth is currently in beta development. In either of these cases, it may be possible to reset the play data in the simulation room. For users who have encountered such issues, please contact us using the Holoearth contact form in-app or on the homepage so that we can reset the play data in the simulation room if you deem it necessary. New Area: "My Space" A new area, "My Space," has been added. This is a safe area with no monsters, where players can can gather, craft items, and enjoy building freely. My Space offers a lighter survival experience than the Simulation Room, with greater gathering and observation datapoint acquisition rates, and reduced stamina, thirst, and hunger drain. (Items will not be shared between Simulation Room and My Space.) Shop Updates ■Daily Free Pack Added A daily free pack of 20x HoloCoin (regular) is now available in the shop. The daily free pack will be replenished each day at 4:00 (JST). ■Notifications Added When new shop items are available there will be a notification badge displayed on the item thumbnails. When there is a new product with a notification badge, the badge will also be displayed for the category for that product. ■Fashion Item Search There is now a search feature in the shop. (Please note, since the display names are currently in Japanese for the time being, search at this time will not reflect in English.) Other Updates ■User Profiles Added A user profile feature was added. In the user profile, players can change the avatar background, display badges they have earned in Holoearth, and set their profile picture to any chat stickers they have. Players can also set their online status and visibility. The user profile can be accessed and edited via the shortcuts menu (H key). The "Badge" feature will allow players to display badge items that were previously obtainable via the minigame during the "Protolive #2 ~Yamato Phantasia~" event. The "Favorites" feature will become available in a future update. ■Friends List Feature Added Players can now add other users as friends and check their online status and user profiles. To add friends, players can access the shortcuts menu (H), select "Friends," and search for another user via username or user ID. Or, players can add friends via the "Send friend request" button on their user profile. Additionally, players can enter mouse mode (^) and right click another user or their messages in chat and send a request via the menu that appears. ■Changes to Usernames Users can no longer have usernames containing only spaces. For such users, their user IDs will replace their usernames.　 New username rules are as follows: ・Username cannot begin or end with a space. ・Username cannot include consecutive spaces. ・It is possible to add a single space between characters. ■Changes to Moving Between Areas ・"Simulation Room" was added to the list of areas that can be accessed directly. ・Players can move to areas by interacting with Mithra. ・The area selection UI was updated. ・"Entrance Hall" received a visual update. ■Changes to Avatar Controls When moving the camera while holding the right mouse button, the avatar will now face the same direction as the camera. ■Minor Changes and Fixes Please see this article for details on the ver. 0.9.0 update.

This is the Holoearth Management Team. We performed an update to Holoearth on June 17th, 2024. Update Contents "Simulation Room" Update ■Area Expansion The size of the Simulation Room area was expanded. ■Day/Night Cycle Implemented ■Combat Mechanics and Monsters Added Monsters were added to the Simulation Room, which players can battle against. Defeated monsters will drop food and other items. ■Hunger and Thirst Mechanic Added Players' food and water status will deplete over time, which can be replenished by consuming food items. When players become hungry or thirsty they will experience negative effects such as slower stamina recovery. ■Thrown Items Added Players will be able to throw a variety of items. ■"Observation" System Added By cutting trees, breaking rocks, gathering resources, and battling monsters, pathfinders will acquire “Observation Data.” This data is exchanged at the “ProtectCube” in the middle of the area. In addition, by placing “Observation Beacons” pathfinders can expand the observation area and increase the amount of data they acquire. ■Avatar Leveling Mechanic Added Pathfinders will level up in the Simulation Room, allowing them to craft more new items. Recipes can be unlocked by exchanging recipe points gained from leveling. ■Avatar Outfits in Simulation Room Implemented It will now be possible for players to wear the avatar clothing items they purchase in the Simulation Room. Outfits are only aesthetic and will not affect players' status. ■Over 200 New Items Added (Equipment, Furniture, Building Materials, etc.) Over 200 new items including equipment, furniture, structures, and new building materials such as stone and iron will be added. Enjoy building whatever you want with these new items and materials. ■Carrying Capacity Mechanic Added Weight has been added to items. As players carry more weight and become overburdened, they will experience negative effects such as not being able to run or jump and having their movement speed slowed. ■A number of Other Features and Adjustments Implemented New Avatar Items Added The ALTERMODE fashion shop in Alternative City will now have an additional 36 avatar outfit items. The new lineup includes accessories such as earrings, elegant new shirts, and classic skirts. Update Contents Update to Alternative City Area Alternative City v1, which has seen progress in its construction, is open as of ver. 0.7.0. Avatar clothing and accessories can be purchased at "ALTERMODE," and avatar build, hair, and other features can be customized at "ALT BEAUTYS." Alternative City will be further developed as the cultural center of Holoearth with the addition of more facilities and features in the future. Addition of Avatar Items 72 clothing and accessory items for avatars have been added. Players can try on or purchase these at the ALTERMODE shop in Alternative City v1. Avatar items for sale will have limited stock. The stock status for each item will change as follows based on the quantity remaining: ・80％ or more　→　Stock status: Packed ・Over 30％ to under 80％　→　Stock status: sufficient ・Over 10％ to under 30％　→　Stock status: limited ・Less than 10％　→　Stock status: almost gone ・0 stock　→　SOLD OUT Sold out items may be restocked. Addition of RebuildCores From this version "RebuildCores" are introduced as a new item for remaking player avatars. Upon logging in after the update players will be given two cores. In addition, the staff NPCs at ALT BEAUTYS will give up to two regular RebuildCores each day to players. *RebuildCores will also be purchasable with HoloCoins. Campaign Start From the ver. 0.7.0 update on May 16th (Thur), 2024 *The campaign end date will be announced later. Free Addition of "Holoearth Official Character Stickers Vol.1" To celebrate the ver. 0.7.0 update release, 10 new chat stickers will be given to players! Update Details Sandbox Feature A portion of the sandbox game feature that is under development was released as a time-limited playtest version. *The playtest period will be announced at a later date. Avatar Creation Feature A test version of the avatar creation feature was released. Players can move around in Holoearth as their customized avatars. Changes to Entrance Area The player guide NPC, "Mithra," has now awoken in the entrance area. Video Streaming Feature A video streaming feature was added. In the theater area players can enjoy watching streamed content with each other up until January 4, 2024 (JST), including special New Year’s hololive programming such as holo Out, holo In 2023▷2024 and AyaFubuMii: Iroha ni Holiday Hark Back "Folklore Friends Under the Kotatsu." See here for the streaming schedule. Alternative City Area The “Alternative City” area was added. Currently this area will be under construction and will not contain playable features. Following the update, the city will be further developed. Photo Mode Photo mode was added. In photo mode players can zoom, change the camera position, and have avatars look directly at the camera to take screenshots in-game. Screenshots taken with photo mode are saved in the Windows "Pictures" folder: Pictures\Holoearth\Screenshots. Gestures Gestures were added. Players will be able to perform a variety of gestures and dances with their avatars to better express themselves in-game. More gestures are planned for the future. Update to Menu Options Graphics Settings ・"Cast shadows" and "Motion blur" settings were added. Sound Settings ・"System" and "Voice" volume settings were added. ・"Sound effects" volume setting was deleted. Serial code input implemented The ability to enter serial/redemption codes in Holoearth was implemented, which can be accessed by selecting “Serial Code” from the main menu. Here, serial codes from the Redemption Code Slip received via the purchase of Random Acrylic Keychains from the official store can be entered and exchanged for a Yamato Phantasia Celebration Sticker. *Please note at this time Sticker options are in Japanese, so exercise caution when selecting a Sticker. 2. Language settings updated The ability to change parts of the Holoearth UI to English was implemented. Please note that this is currently limited to parts of the UI and does not include the contents of the Yamato Phantasia event area. We plan to expand the scope of English support in future updates. New items *After the Kyo-no-Miyako event area opens, new event-related items for Protolive #2 ~Yamato Phantasia~ will be added so fans can enjoy the show even more. Holoearth was updated as of 4 pm JST on April 13th, 2023 Update Details: In anticipation of future virtual live events, we have officially implemented the virtual store for in-game purchases. We have also implemented an in-game currency, HoloCoins, which can be purchased and traded for items such as chat Stickers, Poppers and more. Digital Stickers and Poppers, which were temporarily disabled since the previous update, have been added back to the game as purchasable items available in the Holoearth shop.
