This is the Holoearth Management Team. Holoearth was updated on December 14th, 2023. Update Details Sandbox Feature A portion of the sandbox game feature that is under development was released as a time-limited playtest version. *The playtest period will be announced at a later date. Avatar Creation Feature A test version of the avatar creation feature was released. Players can move around in Holoearth as their customized avatars. Changes to Entrance Area The player guide NPC, "Mithra," has now awoken in the entrance area. Video Streaming Feature A video streaming feature was added. In the theater area players can enjoy watching streamed content with each other up until January 4, 2024 (JST), including special New Year’s hololive programming such as holo Out, holo In 2023▷2024 and AyaFubuMii: Iroha ni Holiday Hark Back "Folklore Friends Under the Kotatsu." See here for the streaming schedule. Alternative City Area The “Alternative City” area was added. Currently this area will be under construction and will not contain playable features. Following the update, the city will be further developed. Photo Mode Photo mode was added. In photo mode players can zoom, change the camera position, and have avatars look directly at the camera to take screenshots in-game. Screenshots taken with photo mode are saved in the Windows "Pictures" folder: Pictures\Holoearth\Screenshots. Gestures Gestures were added. Players will be able to perform a variety of gestures and dances with their avatars to better express themselves in-game. More gestures are planned for the future. Update to Menu Options Graphics Settings ・"Cast shadows" and "Motion blur" settings were added. Sound Settings ・"System" and "Voice" volume settings were added. ・"Sound effects" volume setting was deleted. Controls Settings ・"Controls" section added to settings. ・"Mouse sensitivity," "Invert mouse," and "Auto sprint" settings were added. This is the Holoearth Management Team. Various updates were implemented in Holoearth. Update Details New additions *As of Ver 0.4 the following have been added 1. Serial code input implemented The ability to enter serial/redemption codes in Holoearth was implemented, which can be accessed by selecting “Serial Code” from the main menu. Here, serial codes from the Redemption Code Slip received via the purchase of Random Acrylic Keychains from the official store can be entered and exchanged for a Yamato Phantasia Celebration Sticker. *Please note at this time Sticker options are in Japanese, so exercise caution when selecting a Sticker. 2. Language settings updated The ability to change parts of the Holoearth UI to English was implemented. Please note that this is currently limited to parts of the UI and does not include the contents of the Yamato Phantasia event area. We plan to expand the scope of English support in future updates. New items *After the Kyo-no-Miyako event area opens, new event-related items for Protolive #2 ~Yamato Phantasia~ will be added so fans can enjoy the show even more. List of items: Holo Light Blade (Yamato) Light Stick Sparkler Fireworks Emote Kyo-no-Miyako event area opens on July 8, 2023 On Saturday, July 8, 2023, at 14:00 (JST), we will open an event area in Holoearth based Kyo-no-Miyako, which appears in the web manga Yamato Phantasia that is serialized in hololive Alternative. *Opening time subject to change. In Kyo-no-Miyako a variety of activities, including minigames and quests that award in-game items, have been prepared that can be played every day during the event period except for the day of the concert on July 15th. Holoearth was updated as of 4 pm JST on April 13th, 2023 Update Details: In anticipation of future virtual live events, we have officially implemented the virtual store for in-game purchases. We have also implemented an in-game currency, HoloCoins, which can be purchased and traded for items such as chat Stickers, Poppers and more. Digital Stickers and Poppers, which were temporarily disabled since the previous update, have been added back to the game as purchasable items available in the Holoearth shop. Holoearth was updated as of 11:00 am JST on March 18th, 2023 Update Details: We implemented a hololive Alternative virtual exhibition booth in the Holoearth lobby for the hololive SUPER EXPO 2023 that was held during March 18th – 19th, 2023. Regarding the Poppers that were implemented for testing purposes, we plan to offer these as purchasable items via the virtual store that will be implemented in the future, so we have temporarily disabled them in preparation as we update their functionality.
