Due to a launcher update, the installation folder for the “Holoearth” client has been changed.
In the previous version of the launcher, the default installation path for the “Holoearth” client was “C:\Program Files”. Since access to this folder requires administrator privileges, it asks to allow the app to make changes to your device when running the Holoearth client.
In the new version of the launcher, the default path for the “Holoearth” client has been changed to “C:\Users[Username]”.
We have received inquiries about installation failures due to this change in the installation location.
If you see the error message “cm:NonAsciiPathInstallErrorMessage”:
You may be able to resolve this issue by specifying a different folder as the installation destination.
If you see the error message “An error occurred while writing files. If the game is running, please close it. Would you like to retry?” at the end of installation:
